In honor of all the men and women who have served/are serving our country, thank you. Your sacrifices are appreciated.
A little thing I found on my walk around the neighborhood this morning. Overcast days are so great for photographing flowers or really reflective things like water drops.
Taken at Will Rogers State Beach.
The wind came through, the rains came down, and the sun rose again to reveal this beautiful valley. This was the view from our church Sunday morning. Click here to see it big.
Took a walk around the neighborhood this morning and found these little jewels. I love being out when the day is new and the world is waking up. Have a great weekend!
Shot this from my car last night on the way home from work. This is right down the street from where I took this shot. Have a great day!
A beautifully restored B-17 bomber that was giving tours and rides at the Van Nuys airport. My grandfather flew these during WWII so they hold a special place in my heart.
Taken at the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport.
Taken from the USS Midway. The helicopter in the background was shuttling people and gear to/from an active duty aircraft carrier across the bay. Even with rain it was a fantastic day!
Taken in the early morning at my parent's farm.
A window sill in my grandmother's house. I sat here many times, watching the world go by.
Just a little morning cheer for ya. Have a great Saturday! (I'll be at work)
Hope everyone is having a great Friday. I took this picture of a bottlebrush tree on my walk around the neighborhood yesterday. Have a great weekend!
Whew, work has been (and continues to be) crazy. I'm very thankful for the work, but I'm feeling kinda underwater. Anyway, I'm trying to keep taking/posting a picture everyday so my photog muscles don't shrink up! Have a great day!
An old, mossy set of stairs in Alcatraz. So many great textures and patinas there.
The historic Fairmont Hotel on San Francisco's Nob Hill.
Lovely sunset clouds outside the San Diego Wild Animal Park.
A beautiful end to another beautiful day in Yosemite National Park. There is something so magical about the light up there. Can't wait to go back.
