On the way home from a train ride in Filmore I looked in my rear view mirror and say this. I pulled over rather quickly. Such a spectacular day.

Yes Sur

We took a beautiful drive yesterday down Highway 1 to Big Sur. This is some of the most spectacular coastline in all of California. I've wanted to go there ever since I moved out to Los Angeles, but never got around to it. Check it off the list baby! The weather was perfect and the traffic was light. To top it off, we found this awesome place to eat called the Restaurant at Ventana. If you're ever in the Big Sur area, you owe it to yourself to try it out. Heading home tomorrow. :( This trip has just made me want to come back again and explore.

Monterey Plaza

I took this last night outside our beautiful hotel. We are loving our time in Monterey. The aquarium was awesome and I can't wait to see what we check out tomorrow. Have a great day!

Sunset Greetings

Greetings from beautiful Carmel-by-the-sea, California. We're actually staying in Monterey, but drove over to Carmel to see the sunset. This is our first trip here and we have been blown away so far. Tomorrow we are headed to the world famous Monterey Bay Aquarium for a full day of looking and learning. Later I'll try to post a picture of the view from our room. (Spoiler: it's awesome)

Today I'm heading to a place I've never been. 2 hints: it's in California and I'm driving. Probably doesn't narrow it down very much. ;) As soon as I get a decent picture (or two) from there, all will become clear.

Fairy Princess
