Out for a stroll

Went out for a walk with the family this evening and brought the camera along. Ya know, 'cause I do that. Found a little summer time bloomage and thought I'd make some pictures.

California dreamin'

This is the image I always had in my mind of California before I moved out here. Having lived here almost 13 years now I see that there is so much more than just beaches and beautiful sunsets. Although the beaches and sunsets, they ain't bad.

Re-visiting

I was looking back through my images from Yosemite and thought some of them would look great in black and white. Here's three of my favorites.

Simplicity

We took the kids to Descanso Gardens today to let them stretch their legs a bit now that the weather's cooling down. I saw this little scene in the Japanese garden and I was struck by it's simple setting. A little post processing brought out the image I had in my head.

No surprise

I can't post pictures of my boys without posting one of my girl. Here she is in all of her "gonna be asking me for the car keys next week" cuteness.
