f/11: Mother's day inspiration

I started out taking some pics of my wife's mother's day roses, but quickly turned my attention to the vase they were in.

This set of photographs made me come out of lurkdom becuase through them I experienced a rare aesthetic experience. On first viewing I thougt the blue was the negative space. But then the stems clued me in and my eyes readjusted. Logic and eyesight fighting for dominance. Lol; December 26, 2009 at 8:39 AM
