Awww! Julie *is* a woman after my own heart. I've been chomping at the bit for a couple weeks now to put up the tree (our first year with an artificial tree ... after 5 years here, we've finally figured out that real trees dry out REALLY fast in this SoCal "winter").
LOVE this picture - the purpleness (you failed to mention the purple walls, the purple pillows ...), your summer attire, and the fun fish-eye-like reflection in the bulb surrounded by Christmas-y goodness.
